Magic Mountain chalet is located in the alpine village of Dinner Plain. Sleeping maximum of 8 people with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Ground floor consists of drying room, bunk room, lounge, bedroom with queen bed, main bathroom/laundry facilities, bedroom with queen bed. Middle level has 2nd lounge area off to a deck, kitchen & dining areas. Top floor has the primary bedroom with queen bed & ensuite. This chalet is suitable for families. Furry family members are welcome for a $50 fee per dog, no more than 2 dogs.

Two bedrooms with a queen bed in each and third bedroom with one set of single bunk beds and two single beds. Parking available for 2 vehicles on site. Coch’Y’Bondhu is in a quiet courtyard backing onto the reserve. Just a short walk to the Dinner Plain ski run, cross country and mountain bike tracks and to the shops and restaurants. The bus stop to Mt Hotham is also a short distance away. The property has been updated with new floor coverings and a luxurious fully renovated bathroom. The ground floor consists of an entry/drying area. The kitchen, living and dining areas complete with slow combustion unit along with central heating of hydronic panels throughout. Upstairs you’ll find the main bedroom with the open mezzanine floor with a bunk bed and the bathroom along with a desk. Coch’Y’Bondhu sleeps a maximum of four people. This cabin is dog friendly upon application with a $100.00 non refundable dog fee. No more than two dogs please. Free wifi available.

Christmas/New Year 2026/2027: From 21 December to 2 January & Minimum 2 night stay $295 per night

Winter Low 2027: From 1 June to 31 July and 1 September to 30 September . Minimum 2 night stay $690 per night.
Winter High 2027: From 1 July to 31 August. Minimum 2 night stay $750 per night.
Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation thirty days or more prior to arrival will incur a fee of 10% of total tariff. The balance of monies paid will be refunded. If less than thirty days notice is given no monies will be refunded unless the property can be re-booked. We recommend that you take travel insurance to cover against cancelation penalties due to involuntary cancelation. If cancelling due to Covid 19 there is a $100 administration with held.
Deposit: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within fourteen days of booking unless booking is made within thirty days of arrival then full payment is required on booking. Where deposit is unpaid after fourteen days, DPAMS reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. For Easter, Christmas, New Years, and the winter ski season, deposit of $400.00 is to be paid upon booking. Security Deposit: The person making the reservation and paying the require tariff to DPAMS is deemed responsible for care and security of the property during the period of their stay in the property. A security bond to paid prior to arrival with DPAMS prior to or on key collection. Any loss/damage to property and or fittings, excessive cleaning in accordance with cleaning time frames and or late checkout funds will used from bond. Security bond will be returned upon departure providing conditions of occupation have been met. We cannot allow you access to the property unless the conditions of this clause have been met.
