Glacier chalet is centrally located within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bus stops and beginners ski slope in the alpine village of Dinner Plain. Sleeps maximum of 8 people. Ground floor you’ll find , powder room, shower, laundry room, drying room. Then entering the cozy, lounge with enclosed wood fire, dining area and kitchen. Which leads out the deck where the BBQ is located. Upstairs you’ll find bedroom 1, with 2 sets of single bunk beds, bedroom 2 with a queen bed and bedroom 3 also a queen bed. Second bathroom is on this level with shower and vanity and separate toilet. A traditional style chalet with charm and character. Parking on site. Glacier welcomes dogs with a non refundable fee of $100 per dog, no more than 2 dogs please. Glacier is suitable for families.

Ground Floor
Park your car in the covered carport (if you have a second car there is also a second car space). You will then enter Bearskin & arrive in the ‘ski room‘ you will be able to keep your ski gear in the separate drying room/laundry. The ground floor foyer opens to the queen bedroom with large built-in cupboard, the kid’s bunkroom with two double bunks, built in cupboard, TV/DVD & plenty of toys, games & books for bedtime stories & finally the bathroom.

1st Floor
You will then wander up the beautiful timber staircase to the main living area (this is where the huge day bed is). The roof is simply gorgeous with its cathedral raked ceiling & exposed beams looking through the huge windows towards the Alpine National Park. Inspired by chic French ski chalets the open fireplace creates the perfect ski lodge ambience, especial when tucked into the huge day bed with a glass of wine!

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay I.e. oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, plenty of storage space, cutlery & crockery for 8 guests plus plenty of kid’s utensils, & dining table seating 8. Basic consumables (I.e tea, coffee, spreads & spice cupboard).

You will also find the master bedroom on this floor & is located behind the kitchen with large king size bed, built in robe & large ensuite. You will truly love your experience at Bearskin Lodge, our home away from home! It is set up so you can arrive with literally your clothes & ski gear kid’s toys, linen, towels it’s all there ready to go!

Coch’Y’Bondhu

Coch’Y’Bondhu is in a quiet courtyard backing onto the reserve. Just a short walk to the Dinner Plain ski run, cross country and mountain bike tracks and to the shops and restaurants. The bus stop to Mt Hotham is also a short distance away. The property has been updated with new floor coverings and a luxurious fully renovated bathroom. The ground floor consists of an entry/drying area. The kitchen, living and dining areas complete with slow combustion unit along with central heating of hydronic panels throughout. Upstairs you’ll find the main bedroom with the open mezzanine floor with a bunk bed and the bathroom along with a desk. Coch’Y’Bondhu sleeps a maximum of four people. Panorama

Panorama is a large three storey chalet built for family and friends in mind. Sleeping a maximum of ten people. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms all with queen beds. This floor also has a bathroom with toilet, vanity, and shower over bath. The laundry consists of a washing machine and clothes dryer and trough and a toilet. The drying room is located just at the entrance.

The middle level has all the living, with dining area and kitchen, which then goes off the large outdoor deck with BBQ and outdoor furniture overlooking the reserve. The combustion unit is cozy to sit by. There is window seating that overlooks the front deck to relax with a good book. The top level is the children’s retreat with 4 single beds. This area has a television and DVD player and a games console. The kids can relax on the bean bags. This level has an ensuite with vanity, toilet and shower.
