Meltdown Chalet- Dog Friendly

Meltdown chalet is centrally located in the alpine village of Dinner Plain. Walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bus stop. And just around the corner to the beginner's ski slope/snow play park.
Sleeping a total of 14 people. The ground floor consists of a bedroom with a tri-bunk and a set of single bunk beds. Separate toilet. Bathroom with shower and hand basin. Drying cupboard. The kitchen is well equipped with a coffee machine. Dining area, comfortable lounge and the warmth of the open fire place.
Up stairs you'll find two other bedrooms. One with a king bed and a single bunk bed. The other bedroom has a single bunk bed, single bed and a double bed. This level also has a bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity.
In the garage you'll find the laundry facilities and the fire wood store. Meltdown is heated with the open fire place and split heater/cooler and electric panel heaters.
Your furry friend is welcome to Meltdown with a fee of $25.00 per dog per stay.

Winter Low- from Friday 7th June to the Saturday 13th July and Sunday 1st September to Sunday 29th September 2019. Note: minimum 2 night stay. $750 per night

Winter High- from Sunday 14th July to Saturday 31st August 2019. Note: Minimum 2 night stay. $1000 per night

Summer- from Sunday 30th September to Thursday 18th April and then from Wednesday 24th April to Thursday 6th June 2019. Note: Minimum 2 night stay. $425 per night

Summer 2019/2020: From 1st October to 9th April and 14th April to 4th June. Minimum 2 night stay. $425 per night

Easter 2020: From 10th April to 13th April. Minimum 3 night stay $670 per night

Winter Low 2020: From 5th June to 11th July and 30th August to 2nd October. Minimum 2 night stay $750 per night

Winter High 2020: from 12th July to 29th August. Minimum 2 night stay. $1000 per night

Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation thirty days or more prior to arrival will incur a fee of 10% of total tariff. The balance of monies paid will be refunded. If less than thirty days notice is given no monies will be refunded unless the property can be re-booked. We recommend that you take travel insurance to cover against cancelation penalties due to involuntary cancelation.

Security Deposit: The person making the reservation and paying the require tariff to DPAMS is deemed responsible for care and security of the property during the period of their stay in the property. A valid credit card number must be lodged with DPAMS prior to or on key collection. Any loss/damage to property and or fittings, excessive cleaning in accordance with cleaning time frames and or late checkout will result in the amount applicable being deducted from the credit card. If no credit card available, a cash deposit of $500.00 must be lodged with DPAMS prior to key collection. Security deposit will be returned upon departure providing conditions of occupation have been met. We cannot allow you access to the property unless the conditions of this clause have been met.

Deposit: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within fourteen days of booking unless booking is made within thirty days of arrival then full payment is required on booking. Where deposit is unpaid after fourteen days, DPAMS reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. For Easter, Christmas, New Years, and the winter ski season, deposit of $400.00 is to be paid upon booking
