Ice House - Alpine Chalet

Ice House is located on Horsehair Bend, close to the western boundary of the village. There is parking for one vehicle under a carport in front of the house, and for an additional car in the driveway.

There is a small drying cupboard in the tiled entry area, adjacent to the front door. To the left of the staircase is the master bedroom suite, with a queen bed, bed side tables and lamps, and a large built in wardrobe. The spacious ensuite has a shower, toilet and vanity. To the right of the front door is the bunkroom, with 2 sets of bunks, a chest of drawers, bed and large built in wardrobe.

Located in a cupboard in the hallway is the washing machine, clothes dryer and trough. Further along is the main bathroom, with a vanity, shower over the bath tub and a toilet. The third bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom and has a queen bed, bed side tables and lamps, and a large built in wardrobe.

A staircase from the entry area leads through up to the living/kitchen area with a small combustion wood heater, dining for 8, a LCD TV and DVD player. There are 2 sofas and a coffee table. The galley style kitchen has an electric cook top and oven, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. From the dining area, there is access to the deck,with a large BBQ. Electric panel heating throughout the house maintains a warm, cosy atmosphere.

Summer: from 1st October to 18th April and then from 24th April to 6th June 2012. Minimum 2 night stay. $300 per night

Easter 2019: 19th April to Monday 23rd April. Minimum 3 night stay. $420 per night

Winter Low- from 7th June to 13th July and then from 1st September to 29th September 2019 Minimum 2 night stay. $565 per night

Winter High - from Sunday 14th July to 31st August. Minimum 2 night stay. $750 per night

Summer 2019/2020: From 1st October to 9th April and from 14th April to 4th June. Minimum 2 night stay. $300 per night

Easter 2020: From 10th April to 13th April. Minimum 3 night stay. $420 per night

Winter Low 2020: From 5th June to 11th July to 30th August to 2nd October. Minimum 2 night stay $565 per night.

Winter High 2020: From 12th July to 29th August. Minimum 2 night stay. $750 per night.

Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation thirty days or more prior to arrival will incur a fee of 10% of total tariff. The balance of monies paid will be refunded. If less than thirty days notice is given no monies will be refunded unless the property can be re-booked. We recommend that you take travel insurance to cover against cancelation penalties due to involuntary cancelation. Property changes: A request to change property within thirty days of arrival will be considered a cancelation of the original booking and Cancelation Clause will apply. A request to change property thirty days or more prior to arrival date and after the deposit has been paid, will incur a $100.00 fee. Booking deferral: Subject to availability, a booking may be deferred to an alternative date within the same season, provided the booking is for the same property and a $50.00 fee is paid. Tariff increase due to date changes will apply. Tariff decrease due to date changes will be subject to a refund. Security Deposit: The person making the reservation and paying the require tariff to DPAMS is deemed responsible for care and security of the property during the period of their stay in the property. A valid credit card number must be lodged with DPAMS prior to or on key collection. Any loss/damage to property and or fittings, excessive cleaning in accordance with cleaning time frames and or late checkout will result in the amount applicable being deducted from the credit card. If no credit card available, a cash deposit of $500.00 must be lodged with DPAMS prior to key collection. Security deposit will be returned upon departure providing conditions of occupation have been met. We cannot allow you access to the property unless the conditions of this clause have been met.

Deposit: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within fourteen days of booking unless booking is made within thirty days of arrival then full payment is required on booking. Where deposit is unpaid after fourteen days, DPAMS reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. For Easter, Christmas, New Years, and the winter ski season, deposit of $400.00 is to be paid upon booking.
